First Up training and teaching raises professional skill levels and helps further our goal of promoting inclusive, equitable and developmentally appropriate practices in supporting young children. We work with educators individually and in groups and encourage collaborative action with our Communities of Practice.
Professional Learning PD offerings
First Up has over 200 classes
geared towards a variety of core competencies, and for every level of experience. They are aligned to fulfill PQAS continuing education and Keystone STARS quality requirements.
Professional Learning Racial equity
Research has shown positive racial identity is critically important to children’s healthy growth and development. First Up has a number of programs and initiatives that address this need.
